Fullmetal Alchemist Explained - Spoilers - A Netflix Original

Netflix Original  Fullmetal Alchemist Spoilers - Explanation

Spoiler Alert, ending explained!

There are usually a lot of spoilers and ending explained theories on every movie. Some anime movies like this one have interesting twists, but Fullmetal Alchemist is pretty straight forward, as you can read in the summary below. In the end the two brothers fight a lot of distracted wars, and do not end up getting their body parts back, thus setting the stage for a sequel. Here is a Reddit Fullmetal spoilers page to watch.

Fullmetal Alchemist Movie Summary

Fullmetal Alchemist, based upon the 2001-2010 Japanese shonen manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa was just released to Netflix (watch free here, for members), as an original network film. This movie is about two brothers (Edward and Alphonse Elric) who attempt to bring their deceased mother back using their father's books (the father had already left them). In this failed attempt, one brother ( Edward) lost and arm and leg, and the other (Alphonse), his whole body! So, that brother must use a suit of metal armor to contain his soul and live life in. Now the brothers must do what they can in the movie to restore their body parts. On their quest, they end up joining the military and getting into all sorts of conflict. For more details on how alchemy and setting play into this movie, read here.

Fullmetal Alchemist Movie Reviews

Do people like Netflix's new movie, Fullmetal Alchemist? This movie is actually coming out to some pretty bad reviews (Rotten Tomatoes gives them a poor review). We also watched the film and the plot is so straightforward, and hard to get into. The special effects are good, but that's about it. Perhaps the manga books were better. Another failed attempt at bringing manga to film.

Netflix's "The Open House" Movie - Ending Explained, Spoiler Alert

"The Open House" Ending Explained, Spoilers Netflix recently released the new horror movie, "The Open House", to horrible reviews. The first, big question (spoiler alert) is who was the killer? This movie does not give us the satisfaction of knowing! It gives us no answers, and all those scary mysteries Netlfix promises in the film details, unexplained! And, everybody dies. There was no reason for anyone to watch and kill them, just a bunch of random scare tactics by the directors, and a big let down. How about that for a crappy flick to waste a Friday night on.
Our Review  - Zero Stars! (with a nod to the semi OK acting by decent cast)
Lots of red herrings, build ups for no reason, bad plot (could have been summed up in 10 minutes), lots of things happening but no explanation, and everybody dies with no answer to who the killer is nor the motive. No there was no ghosts to explain the weird stuff that happens (which would have been better than the meaningless dr…

Devilman Crybaby Ending Explained - Spoiler Alert

Ending Explained - Devilman Crybaby
Beware, spoilers ahead - let's look at Netflix's (watch here) Devilman Crybaby's ending explained. Some hated the ending (see Reddit comments), and you can imagine why, because in the end humanity dies. Yes, everyone dies. Disappointing especially when the whole movie sets up a hero (the boy, Akira) to merge with one of the demons attacking the planet in order to stop the take over. But, through the whole movie, we only see how flawed humanity is, and in the end, it's over for the people of Earth. The Earth is destroyed. That is how it ends. Post-credits shows a planet, but it is not the Earth but another "moon" created from the debris of the destroyed Earth, which may foretell yet another cycle of the same, after everything cools and spawns life again.

Moral of the story? A single man cannot change fate. Humans as a species are too selfish, and are doomed?

Infinity Chamber Ending Explained

Infinity Chamber Ending Explained - Comment with your own theory - Spoiler Alert! Infinity Chamber (trailer here) was criticized by the LA Times for going on, and on and on, but what
is most intriguing is the ending. After nodding off through the whole film, the ending pulls things back in sharp focus by making you wonder what happened. After searching the internet, there are no official explanations for what happened, only some theories on Reddit, some of which make total sense.
Ending: unfortunately, Frank Lerner did not make it out, whether out is the infinity chamber we saw throughout the movie, or wherever (in an interrogation to find the flashdrive, the hospital, etc.), Frank is still in there, and making peace with that by giving up the struggle and enjoying his time with his memory of something better.
